The newlyweds sit back-to-back, having swapped one shoe each. As questions are read out, the couple answers simultaneously by raising the shoe of the person they believe best fits the answer! Shoes Up! provides an interactive MC script, randomized questions, and instant controls to run the game flawlessly.

How do I play Shoes Up!?↓

Simply download the app, set up the couple's names, venue, and wedding date, and jump over to the MC guide to position the couple. Tap the Play tab and you're ready to start!

Is the compatibility score real?↓

Well, yes and no! As a wedding DJ with 15+ years of experience, I noticed the traditional shoe game lacked a strong finish. I added the calculated score as a unique, fun twist to wrap up the game on a high note.

How do I make the game super fun for guests?↓

Like all game shows, the host brings it to life! Adlibbing and adding quick quips makes all the difference. For example, if the question is 'Who smells out the bathroom most?', you might joke: 'That could go two ways, folks—a lovely perfume or the groom after a trip to the toilet!' Quick humor gets the room laughing immediately.

Can I add my own questions?↓

Custom questions are in our feature pipeline! In the meantime, the app includes 200 curated questions, and skipping any prompt on the fly takes just a single tap.

I'm a professional Wedding DJ—can I use this app?↓

Absolutely! There are no restrictions. In an upcoming update, you'll even be able to customize export summary printouts with your own DJ business branding.

Is Shoes Up! LGBTQ+ friendly?↓

Yes, 100%. The app uses partner first names alongside inclusive 'Partner 1' and 'Partner 2' designations throughout.

Where is the post-game summary PDF stored?↓

You'll find your generated PDFs saved directly in the iOS **Files** app under the **Shoes Up** folder. If you forget to share it right after the reception, you can retrieve and export it anytime.

Are there more wedding reception games coming?↓

Yes! Additional reception and crowd-engagement games are currently in development and planned for rollout over the coming months.
